Membership Site For Passive Income!

Among all the types of Internet Marketing Strategies, Membership Marketing is one of the most powerful and profitable way to generate income online.

Membership marketing not just generate income, it can provide you incomes months after months. Just imagine that you have created a membership site, selling some on going learning program or some valuable newsletter membership. Let's look at the potential earnings of your membership site:

Since you will be doing some intensive marketing for the launch of your membership site, in the fist month let say you manage to get 250 members for a monthly fees of $10:

1st Month  =  250 X 10 = $2,500
(Say you are to manage to get 20% more member each month)
2nd Month =  60 X 10   = $600 + $2,500 = $3,100
3rd Month  =  60 X 10   = $600 + $3,100 = $3,700
4th Month  =  60 X 10   = $600 + $3,700 = $4,300
5th Month  =  60 X 10   = $600 + $4,300 = $5,900

Now you should be able to see the potential of the growth, base on past experiences on average you will lost about 20% of members every 3 months. Of course if you are able to provide good values to your members and able to make all your members happy. Your potential income is unlimited. The above example are base on a monthly membership fees of $10, what if you could charge $30, $50 or even $100 per month? you do the maths yourself :)

Ok, many will respond to me it's not easy to create a membership site. Well, I have the same though before. But when I have done a deeper research, I found out that it is difficult at all. You could start a membership site for as low as $500. Here I am going to recommend some power resources for your researches:

After you have purchase aMember, you should get some education for starting your membership site. Here, I want to introduce to a good friend of my Mr. David Moskowitz.

David have created Membership Academy were you can master everything about setting up you own membership site. In David's Membership Academy he will show you how to set up your membership with many other resources including aMember. All training is done in video, so that you can follow step-by-step on his teaching. One of the best part of Membership Academy is that David do take in some set up works, this means if after watching the video you still finds it difficult to set it up. You can always engage David to do it for you and he charges a very reasonable price. I have my first membership site set up using David's expertise.

Above is the set up parts of your membership site, now I want to share with you the business parts of your membership marketing strategy.

Before you start any business, you are require to have a business plan, There is a saying "If you don't plan, you actually plan to fail".

In your business plan you should plan out, your market, what you going to sell? your budgets, your time, your layout and how much time you will be spending on this project.

Where is your market and what to sell?
Well, you can always go to search engine and key in some keywords to determine is there a market, for start look into things that you have interest or knowledges in. You can also visit Forums, Blogs, Magazines, Social Networking  Sites to find a niche market.

Is your niche market hungry?
Do more researches on the market you have found, look at the Pay-Per-Click advertisements, visit reviews sites, look for affiliate products, go to eBay to see is there any transaction in your market. You should be able to figure out if the market is a good niche market, simple rules: If the market have lots of activities and competitors, this will be a good niche market. Go to where the money are.

Now you know your market, you have to think of what you are going to offer to your niche market? A series of training eBooks, Videos, or Newsletters, not to worry if you think that you are not able to create the product yourself. You can always outsource to writers, designers and other professional to do it for you. Here are some of the Outsourcing Resources for you:

You got your market and your product, pricing is very important. Don't just put in any price, you should also do research on the types of price your market are willing to pay for. Go to your market, see what others are offering and the price they are charging. Unless you have a super product, otherwise you should target the mass audiences. If you just start out don't be greedy, membership site last for many months and years. Your member will have to pay you monthly and if it's too costly they will stop paying after sometime. My experiences is that charge from $10 - $37 will be idea. For receiving payments Paypal is still my choice.

You got your market, your product, your price, your software and skills. You should start to take massive action to set it up and plan for a launch.

Oh, there is one thing I missed out. You should invest into a good hosting when setting up your membership site. Reason is that, if your members grow and your hosting can't handle the bandwidth or resources. You will be in trouble, go for a reliable hosting provider to ensure this doesn't happen. A good and powerful hosting package will cost you around $50 per month. This is what I am using www.Hosting kiosk.org, Hosting kiosk always get immediate supports from them and they really do understand what marketers wants.
