Well, you can always go to search engine and key in some keywords to determine is there a market, for start look into things that you have interest or knowledges in. You can also visit Forums, Blogs, Magazines, Social Networking  Sites to find a niche market.

Is your niche market hungry?
Do more researches on the market you have found, look at the Pay-Per-Click advertisements, visit reviews sites, look for affiliate products, go to eBay to see is there any transaction in your market. You should be able to figure out if the market is a good niche market, simple rules: If the market have lots of activities and competitors, this will be a good niche market. Go to where the money are.

Now you know your market, you have to think of what you are going to offer to your niche market? You got your market and your product, pricing is very important. Don’t just put in any price, you should also do research on the types of price your market are willing to pay for. Go to your market, see what others are offering and the price they are charging. Unless you have a super product, otherwise you should target the mass audiences. If you just start out don’t be greedy, membership site last for many months and years. Your member will have to pay you monthly and if it’s too costly they will stop paying after sometime.
